Black Gully Printmakers (BGP) are a community member group who meet up to develop their own practice in the studio space within the Museum of Printing below New England Regional Art Museum (NERAM), in Armidale NSW.

We’re run by a diverse group of passionate motivated volunteers, who believe in the importance of printmaking and the Museum of Printing. The Museum of Printing (MOP) displays a collection of priceless items, including countless lead-type, wood-blocks, printing presses, bookbinding equipment, and typewriters. In addition, the collection contains items from F.T Wimble & Co, Australia's sole type foundry during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.  Through group exhibitions, self-directed projects and occasional workshops we seek to make the arts accessible, sustainable, and relevant to the community.

BGP membership is open to the whole community. All BGP members are also volunteers who take turns to open MOP to the public between 11am – 3pm Tuesdays and Sundays. BGP members also have access to the studio space during NERAM’s opening hours.
